Imagining – A Performative Talk Constructed with a Quartet of Statements, a Trio Dialogue and a Solo Input
This section aims at constructing new imaginaries around Dance Pedagogy, letting dreams, ideas and hopes free to be exploredComposed as a performative event, it will be made of three scenes;, a quartet of statements, a discussing trio and a solo input. The performance will explore the potential future of dance pedagogy and the future performer, as well as the inclusivity, skills and connections with other disciplines.
Four speakers will deliver their answers in the format of a statement to provoke, inspire and suggest potential futures of dance dealing with the following questions:
How do you imagine a dance performer in the future? What do you think will be necessary? What skills will he/she/they need and why?
Following the thread of the statements, a trio will emerge, exposing inclusive dance projects in the format of a discussion. What does inclusivity mean, and how do we imagine it in the future? These will be the main questions for the debate that will finish in a solo - with the ideas of how to design and organise dance education.
