CHANGE OF PROGRAMME
Due to an illness of the percussionist instead of Rua the performance Outrar by Volmir Cordeiro will be shown. More information will follow shortly.

Outrar is to become the other,to be contaminated by the by the other in a practice of continuous change. Lia Rodrigues has imagined and created a work, built collectively with her dance company in Brazil during these last months of health crisis caused by the Covid-19. Faced with the impossibility to travel - and the necessity to be in Brazil - she worked online with the artists of her dance company and with musicians from differents backgrounds to create a new project for the Kunstenfestivaldesarts, a device in which the choreography travels from continent to continent, and from body to body. ‘Outrar’ becomes a letter sent from Brazil to the Brazilians in Europe today: a journey on the threshold between distance and between distance and proximity.
